Ruth gets to live out her passion and purpose every day and her desire is for you to find yours, if you haven’t already, and help you live out your purpose every day too. As much as she enjoys talking with one person over a cup of coffee or speaking in front of thousands at an event, her heart gushes when one person catches God’s vision for their life and begins to live it. 

She was raised in England and war-torn Northern Ireland where she experienced the horrors of terrorism first-hand. She's been physically shaken by bomb blasts and emotionally shaken by losing friends at the hands of gunmen. At the age of 16, being led by the Lord (and Starsky & Hutch), she went to Bible College in Kansas where she learned about tornadoes, Baby Ruth’s, snipe hunting, Thanksgiving and full-time ministry. Her family is settled in the Nashville, TN area which reminds her of her roots with its lush green, rolling hills and friendly folks. 

Ruth is the host of 'Real Life with Ruth McDe', a weekly Christian radio show and 'Have You Prayed Today...?' a daily radio vignette reminder to pray.  She speaks to churches and at women's conferences.  She created 'Declutter Life' and engages women in person and online with the message of making more room for Jesus.

A few of her favorite things are; family hanging together at home, a good book or two or three, coffee with friends, worshipping on a praise team, the beach and some good Irish banter with English sarcasm added in.
